The church is a community formed by God’s redeeming love in Christ. We belong to one another and are adopted into God’s family when we place our faith in Jesus. The gospel brings together people of every social, ethnic, religious and economic background creating a family formed by God’s extravagant grace.
We display the power of the gospel to the world when we love one another (John 13:35). We demonstrate our love for one another when we share our lives, our hopes, our fears, and our tears. As a community formed by grace, we are committed to one another in spite of our weaknesses and brokenness.
The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone. We need community in order to flourish and encourage faithfulness as we sojourn together. At Redeemer, we gather weekly in community groups to share life, talk about our journey, pray, and study God’s word together.
